Sweet dreams are made of cheese

Instead of braving traffic queues to race to the coast at the first sign of high temperatures, it's good to stay close to home and enjoy the special pleasure of London bathed in sunshine.

Recently we visited the Cheese Festival, organised by the London Cheese Project, held in the beautiful leafy gardens of the Geffrye Museum in Hoxton.

All kinds of mouthwatering cheeses, all made in the UK, were there to taste and purchase alongside chutneys, wines and beer, ice cream, fabulous coffee, speciality breads and sizzling street food.

As usual I had my FujiX100 with me!

We arrived early evening when the gorgeous summer sunshine was perfect for capturing the laid back London vibe.

Cheese, cheese and more cheese

This vintage ice-cream van has been beautifully restored and repurposed - now a cheese van. Could this catch on?

Time to relax, my favourite image of Summer 2018 so far...

Who knew too much cheese could have this effect?

The whole experience left me Brie-ming with delight!
