MY STORY

I’m a professional photographer based in London specialising in portraiture, lifestyle, corporate events and interiors.

Ever since my father gave me a half-frame film camera for my ninth birthday I’ve been taking photos.

I studied at West Surrey College of Art and Design and soon after graduating landed a dream commission with the Greek Tourist Board, travelling to distant monasteries and hiking mountains in Thessaloniki looking for the perfect shot. My love affair with Greece started then and I continue to visit as often as I can.

Back in London I was assistant to the influential advertising photographer Tim Brown, which gave me an excellent grounding to go on to develop my own studio business working primarily with London design companies. During those years I worked on so many premium drinks brands that my claim to fame was being the go-to guy in London for anything involving ice and glass!

Early in my career I was commissioned to work for the charities St Mungos and Shelter. I spent many nights on the streets of London over a 12 month period capturing the plight of the homeless. The experience had a profound effect on me and a lasting influence on my photographic style.

I shoot in studio and on location, most often in the corporate sector, covering large events and auctions, portraiture, venue interiors and food photography.

Outside of work I am never without my FujiX100. I post some of my personal work on Twitter and  here on my blog page.
